The Mercy Door at the front of the church was opened in November 2015.
It is now time for it to be closed or removed and stored in a place befitting its symbolism. Do note that the Vatican Door of Mercy has been closed and sealed shut since 2017.
Accordingly, the closure will take place after the Sunday 6.00 p.m. Mass this weekend in a simple para-liturgy at the front of the church.
