For the first time in its history the Church will now celebrate the Sunday of the Word on the 3rd Sunday of Ordinary Time, Sunday 26th January this year.
Let us make a special effort to attend Mass that weekend as we give attention to God’s holy Word.
Remember Jesus, being a Jew, had no ‘sacraments’. What he had was the Word – the Hebrew Scriptures. Let us give much greater reverence and attention to Gods’ Word.
